"The Welsh Language Board approved Cardiff Council's Welsh Language Scheme 2006-2009 on 05/06/2006. The City and County of Cardiff has adopted the principle that in the conduct of public business and administration of justice in Wales, it will treat the English and Welsh languages on a basis of equality. This Scheme sets out how the Council will give effect to that principle when providing services to the public in Cardiff."Scheme
