Plans to rebuild Tenby cinema

"The owners of a cinema want to demolish the listed building and replace it with a new entertainment complex.

They say the Royal Playhouse Cinema in Tenby, Pembrokeshire "is past its sell by date" and plan to create a two screen replacement, bowling alley and "other family amenities"."

Carew Castle and Tidal Mill

 

"Following a fire in 1955 which destroyed a similar building in Pembroke, this tidal mill remains the only one of its kind in Wales. Much restoration work has taken place and it is hoped that in time, the mill will again be fully operational."
