Hilton to open in Butetown

"A NEW Hilton hotel will kick-start a multi-million-pound transformation of a “neglected corner” of Butetown, developers have claimed.

Plans have been submitted for the 216-bed Hampton by Hilton hotel to rise up on historic Bute Street, near the Wales Millennium Centre.

Cardiff’s economic boss last night said it was a positive sign that the capital was “moving in the right direction”.
