The Church that Moved

"As you drive west from Swansea to Pont Abraham on the final stretch of the M4 motorway, just as it drops down from Llangyfelach towards Pontarddulais, over to your right you will see a strange-looking low, white enclosure within which grows a cluster of trees. It stands on a slight mound on the banks of the still tidal River Loughor. This square stone wall is the boundary wall of the former church of St Teilo, which a few years ago was moved, stone by stone, and later rebuilt 50 miles away at the Museum of Welsh Life at St Fagans on the western edge of Cardiff.
