Work on Cardiff park landmark to start

"Work is starting on a new landmark in a city park which replaces a long-forgotten Victorian summerhouse.

The original summerhouse in Bute Park, Cardiff, was designed by architect William Burges, known for his work on Cardiff Castle and nearby Castell Coch.

The building fell into disrepair in the 1970s and was moved to the city's St Fagans National History Museum.

A new summerhouse kiosk is now being built in the park which will echo the style of the original. "
