Ward Walks : Gabalfa

"The ward is definitely one of the smallest in Cardiff but there’s a lot going on. There are three parts to the Gabalfa ward. The first is around the ‘Colonies’ and other roads such as Quentin Street that are terraced but good standard of property, definitely lots of letting going on but also a good place for first-time buyers. The Whitchurch Road shops are the heart of the community, along with the schools. Mint & Mustard has attracted a lot of people into the area in the evenings, it’s constantly booked up – so if you’re wanting a curry make sure you book early."
