"PLASTIC bag manufacturers yesterday staged a fightback against efforts to ban their products from Wales.
The Assembly Government is seeking powers from Westminster that would allow it to ban the bags. Prime Minister Gordon Brown has warned he may introduce measures to prevent supermarkets giving away free plastic bags"
